Anyone have the answers?
I look down at a crumpled book I have been storing in varies places around my apartment for the last few years. I remember this book. I have started this book on and off for the last 5 years. The Book of Secrets - Unlocking the Hidden Dimensions of Your Life. I remember purchasing it during a time I felt like I wanted the answers to life. I was tired of going through the motions and wanted an understanding that things would be better.
Anyone ever do that?
Once you go through the motions of feeling sad, one day you get a rush of energy and momentum and decide you are going to do something about it.
I remember taking the journey into midtown Manhattan in search for Barnes and Noble. I am a physical book person. I spend a lot of time on the computer for work and recreation and like to think I am giving my eyes a break by going "old school" with use of a physical book.
Now that I have a little dedicated space to myself at home (click here to read about my space). Now more than ever I have nothing but time to reflect. I look down at The Book of Secrets and give it one more go.
Sage was something I got into shortly after the purchase of The Book of Secrets. I remember doing some research of the benefits of burning sage. During this time, I really started getting into manifestations. Putting positive energy and vibes into the universe as much as possible.
Burning sage was odd for me at first and I felt a little bit weird doing it.
People are going to judge me
I remember thinking. It is truly amazing how much energy we give for other people's approval. Making sure we say the right thing, making sure other people feel comfortable and leaving very little to self. I spent a lot of time giving energy to others. I think that is how I ended up at Barnes and Noble that day. I had nothing left for myself.

I like to start in the corners of my apartment counter clock wise, while thinking of these positive thoughts. Thinking through goals and giving myself a pep talk
I also like to sage myself. I like to start at the top of my head and work my way down to my feet.

Essential Oils are apart of my routine. I picture myself in my private space at home, adding a few drops of peppermint oil into my diffuser and learning all about the secrets of life.
Now that to me is the ultimate vibe.
Peppermint oils are one of my favorites for relaxation and taking deep breathes. Saje makes some of my favorite essential oils. I always keep their peppermint halo replenished. I love that I can use it as a roller ball for headaches and flip it over to add a few drops to my diffuser.
I feel calm when I take a deep breath of peppermint oil.
I feel relaxed, I am calm.
I am going to read more. I am going to dig deep to understand and unlock all that life has to offer. I am going to make mistakes. I am going to learn. I am going to get better.
I found my spark when I started this blog and I never want that spark to dim.
